I did this tattoo a while back on my husband. It's a portrait of one of our good friends Mike. The whole idea started off as us joking around about my hubby getting Mike tattooed on is leg. One day during a guest spot in Australia I had a cancellation, prime opportunity to do the tattoo of Mike, so we settled in for a big day and got started. This was the progress after a long day of tattooing, it now has a little background around it, although I'd still like to go back in to it to tighten up some areas and add a litle more detail. I was super stoked to win a couple of trophys for this piece, including most realistic tattoo and best portrait tattoo.
