This client wanted to honor her grandparents in this half sleeve.  Her grandfather faught in the Korean war. The old photograpg is one of her grandparents infront of his chevy he bought before the war and the locket was something thast belonged to her grandmother. The old photo didn't look like this. I have done old ripped photos before and thought it was a good way to incorperate the image. She basically gave me these elements and told me to run with it. I love when clients give me some artistic freedome and I had fun figuring out how to incorperate everything into one cohesive piece.
