Pedro first came to me wanting just to add on an american flag to his existing puerto rican flag, I followed by asking if he would like me to "hook up" the existing and add new stuff. He was totally open and then admitted to not really enjoying the old one, but didnt think anything could be done about it. He was very open with the design which allowed me to fully cover the old with a newer version.
