I really liked the theme of this one. Music is often my refuge or protection from the crazy world outside so doing this tattoo was almost like doing the piece for myself. I also got the freedom to add in a lot of different symbolism in this one which is something I always enjoy. The flowers are a sort of traditional version of poppys which I chose for color contrast as well as the fact that they are used to produse opium. Aaron, the customer, is strait edge so he really liked that bit of his personality inserted as well...sort of saying " In the battle of destruction or temptation, there is peace in rhythm" Super fun!
