Done with Eternal Inks and Industrial Strength Needles
This tattoo was done over the course of 5 sessions, the first being on 1/24/12 and the last on 7/4/12 and took 14 and a half hours to complete. It's rather large; spanning from just above her knee to the top of her hip. In this photo parts of the tattoo are healed and parts are fresh.
This is on my awesome client, Andrea. Originally she wanted a smaller phoenix on her thigh but then surprised me the day she came in for her first appointment, having decided to make it significantly larger. I drew this on her with markers.
Andrea was a lot of fun to work with and I look forward to working with her again in the future.
